Canadian tech manufacturer Liquivision has begun shipping the Xeo, an affordable trimix-capable dive computer.

It builds on the success of the X1, Liquivision’s top flight computer, and the Xen, the company’s bottom timer.

And like the latter, the Xeo features the same OLED screen, for brilliant illumination in all conditions.

Designed for divers of all levels, the Xeo is a wrist-mounted air, nitrox and OC/CCR trimix unit.

Rated to 200 metres, in trimix mode up to 10 gas mixes can be managed. Calculations are made using the Buhlmann ZH-L16C algorithm with optional Gradient Factors.

Sensible features include an angled screen (handy when you’ve got your hands full) and a user-replaceable battery (handy when you’re miles from anywhere.)

You can even customise the screen’s colour scheme, which is designed using large, easily legible fonts. A Mac OSX & Windows compatible PC Interface is available separately.

Liquivision currently has no distributors in Europe, but products including the Xeo are available through the online shop. Expect to pay $999 for a Xeo.
