Scubapro ice dives in Italy
Frozen lake proves no match for MK17 / A700 regulator
Scubapro spent last weekend ice diving in Lake Lavarone in northern Italy.
The dive kit brand sponsored and participated in the 26-degree Ice Diving Stage.
The event was held in conjunction with Italian certification agency ANIS.
Divers learned about new products and had the chance to test the MK17/A700 Black Tech regulator.
The event was also the occasion for setting a breath-holding world record by free diver Dante Cetrioli.
He set a new record of breath-hold swimming under ice of a remarkable 85 metres.
The safety scuba diver who assisted the record attempt was using a Scubapro A700 regulator.
The A700 is environmentally sealed for freeze-resistant cold water performance.
