Scuba Travel has named the latest addition to its Tornado Red Sea Liveaboard fleet MV Mistral.

Mistral – the name of a northerly wind that blows from the Mediterranean to France – is a brand new vessel.

She’s 35 metres long, built of steel and has large twin diesel engines, making her a capable long distance cruiser between dive sites.

Customers have a choice of double and twin berths, all with air con and en suite bathroom.

From a diving perspective, along with a generous dive deck, she’s fitted with compressors for nitrox, mixed gas blending, and a dedicated camera room.

Scuba Travel ran a competition to find a new for the new vessel, with Mistral polling the most votes.

Mr Rob Underhill has won a trip for two people on the ship, touring the wrecks of the Northern Red Sea. Lucky chap.
