The Zeagle Zena ladies’ jacket has been given CE approval and will be on sale in Europe very shortly.

Most people fit into most BCDs, because no matter what the design, there is plenty of adjustment horizontally (cummerbund) and vertically (shoulder straps).

The trouble is that women are not the same shape as men.

Zeagle have addressed this with the Zena. It’s not like a standard BCD. The jacket meets in the middle and has a zip-up front with webbing around the sides for a more flattering shape. Waist and hips can be adjusted individually, while the elastic front panels provide excellent fit and comfort.

The Zena is designed to be fitted with the upper waistband at the natural waist, placing the weights and buoyancy low, around the body’s centre of buoyancy.

As with other Zeagle jackets and harnesses, the Zena has the company’s Ripcord weight release system as standard.

Prices and European shipping dates will be announced shortly. To learn more, check out the Zeagle website.
