One of the familiar liveaboard boats operating in the northern Red Sea has been given an overhaul, inside and out.

Oonasdivers is now taking bookings for trips aboard the sparklingly fresh 27 metre-long Blue Planet 1.

popular with groups of friends or club members

Although she was last upgraded as recently as 2011, the vessel has once again been given a new look.

Blue Planet 1 is relatively small, offering trips for a maximum of 16 divers – making her a popular choice with groups of friends or club members.

The old bunk beds in cabins on the lower deck have been removed and replaced by two single beds.

Although the bunk bed layout remains the same with the two cabins on the upper deck, the size of the lower bunk has increased, creating enough space for a double bed.

Blue Planet 1 runs the ‘North & Wrecks’ itinerary from Hurghada. To enquire about bookings or an exclusive charter, contact Oonasdivers on (01323) 648924 or email info@oonasdivers.
