Liveaboard specialists blue o two are offering recreational sidemount courses onboard their luxury Red Sea liveaboard fleet.

The British-owned outfit is offering PADI’s Recreational Sidemount course to guests, which is made up of 4 dives over the week onboard the vessel.

Course costs from £120 per person

The course will cost from £120 per person. Divers must be Open Water qualified and at least 15 years old to take part in the course.

Sidemount diving was first created by cave divers to reduce the amount of space they required when navigating through confined area.

It is increasingly popular with recreational and technical divers in open water.

Rather than wearing a tank or a twinset on their back, the diver instead wears one or two cylinders mounted (similar to a stage) on their side.

For more information about the course and equipment hire, check out the ‘Extras’ pages for blue o two’s Red Sea liveaboard fleet at www.blueotwo.com, phone the travel team on +44 (0)1752 480808 or email divingholidays@blueotwo.com.
