Who’s who of technical instructors set up boot camp in Somerset

The first ever TEKCamp is scheduled to take place this July over five days in Somerset.

Top technical diving instructors will congregate at the Vobster Quay inland diving centre from Monday 25 to Friday 29.

TEKCamp students will be treated to seminars, lectures and presentations on all aspects of technical diving.

Naturally, they’ll also spend a lot of time in the water, learning (but hopefully having fun at the same time.)

Hosted by Vobster and sponsored by Fourth Element, TEKCamp students will train under five different instructors over the week.

Daily in-water workshops will cover topics including kit config, CCRs, twinsets, decompression diving and other disciplines.

Big draws named on the roster include Rich Stevenson, Rich Walker of GUE, Martin Robson and Howard Payne.

Recreational divers looking for a fresh challenge are welcome, as are techies keen to enhance their skillset.

Places are limited. For more information check the website or search for TEKCamp 2011 on Facebook.
