Tickets on sale for TEK 2011
Dedicated programme for techies runs alongside London dive show
Technical divers can now buy tickets for TEK 2011, a dedicated conference and get-together.
TEK 2011 is an offshoot of the London International Dive Show (LIDS), held at the ExCel centre in Docklands.
Organisers say the conference will appeal mainly to experienced technical divers and those recently qualified who plan to do more.
However, there will also be sessions for those new to technical diving, wishing to learn more about techniques and equipment.
Subjects in the spotlight will include rebreathers, deep wreck exploration and decompression diving.
Key speakers booked for TEK 2011 include depth record-holder Mark Ellyat, cave diver extraordinaire Martyn Farr, and tech instructor Mark Powell.
Deep wreck explorer Rich Stevenson will also be on site to share his latest experiences.
TEK 2011 kicks off during the 10th annual London International Dive Show on 26/27 March.
Only a limited number of 250 places are available for each day of the event.
Tickets will be allocated on a first come basis, with a different conference programme scheduled to run on both days of the show.
A one-day TEK 2011 Pass costs £22.50, with two days costing £40.00 – both include entry to LIDS 2011.
