Paris dive show begins
France’s biggest public and trade event returns once again
The 13th annual Salon De La Plongee dive show takes place in Paris this weekend.
It is France’s largest public and industry scuba event. The format is similar to the large London International Dive Show (LIDS), held in the UK every year.
An entire hall is filled with company exhibitors, keen to show off new diving products and services.
There are also try-out pools for visitors to test kit before purchsing, with also talks and presentations in neighbouring rooms.
The International Salon De La Plongee runs from 14-17th January 2011. It is being held at the Parc Des Expositions in Port De Versailles, west of Paris.
Entry costs 10 euros per day, 17 euros for two days or 30 for all four days. Children under eight are admitted free.
