Killer shark movie announced
Halle Berry stars in latest PR disaster for sharks
Just when you thought it was safe to go to the cinema, another killer shark movie comes along.
‘Dark Tide’ stars Halle Berry and is directed by John Stockwell, responsible for ‘Blue Crush’ and ‘Into The Blue’.
Here’s a synopsis of the story; Kate (played by Berry) is a shark expert, in her glory years known as ‘the shark whisperer.’
However, her professional career has been in the toilet since a shark killed a diver under her command. She has been unable to get back in the water since.
A millionaire with a thirst for thrills turns up with a juicy offer that could turn her fortunes around and balance the books.
Unfortunately, it involves a dive outside of a shark cage, in “the world’s deadliest feeding ground: shark alley.”
Still reading? Ok, so it sounds pretty stoopid… but Halle doesn’t look bad in a bikini and there might be some nice footage of islands or coral or something.
Dark Tide will be available (unusually) via video-on-demand ahead of its full cinema release, which is March 30th in the US.
