Introduce a friend to BSAC promotion

The new BSAC Come Dive With Me promotion encourages divers to introduce a friend to the Club.

Beginning yesterday, members who introduce new members will receive a 185 pound discount off a new Northern Diver drysuit – as will their friend.

For snorkellers or warm water divers brought into BSAC, there is an alternative discount of up to 50 quid off a Northern Diver wetsuit.

The initiative is to bolster recruitment activities such as try dive events, open evenings and local promotions.

BSAC Chief Executive Mary Tetley said: “BSAC’s greatest asset is our members and we want to encourage and reward them for bringing new members into the club.

“We already know that ‘word of mouth’ is very effective when it comes to new member recruitment and so we are hoping that Come Dive with Me will really motivate our members to continue to spread the word about their clubs.”

Friends and family who join BSAC should put their sponsor’s membership number and initials on the BSAC application form where it says ‘how did you hear about BSAC?’

After the membership has been processed at BSAC HQ, both the sponsor and the new member will be sent details on how to claim the drysuit discount.

The Northern Diver drysuit range currently starts from 450 pounds.
