Aqua Lung Legend series for 2012

The Aqua Lung Legend regulator range is expanding thanks to three new models for 2012.

The new Legend, Legend LX and Legend LUX bring the ten year old series bang up to date.

The Legend and Legend LX come in silver, whilst the LUX has a rather swanky rose gold colouring.

These regs can also be purchased in ‘Supreme’ specification for cold water use. Supreme models have a satin finish instead of chrome.

Compared to the existing Legend, the latest Aqua Lung second stages are smaller and lighter.

Shoppers can choose from either yoke or DIN fittings of course, and all come with some rather clever innovations.

For example, Aqua Lung is particularly proud of the new Master Breathing System (MBS), a design that controls the venturi and valve opening movement in synchronisation. Breathing from a new Legend is said to be smoother and more natural.

Also newly fitted in the first stage is a spring loaded Auto Closure Device (ACD) that snaps into place, preventing water from getting inside and causing corrosion.

Aqua Lung’s new Legend regulators are available from the usual outlets now.
